Jim Robison | Producer
After serving in the Australian Army, Jim Robison studied a Bachelor of Commerce at Newcastle University and has now been working in the film and TV industry for over ten years in various BTL roles in production & Art Departments; on major Blockbuster films like Hacksaw Ridge, The Great Gatsby & Mad Max: Fury Road. In 2015 Jim setup his own company to focus on his career as a creative Producer. The last four years has seen Jim dedicate his time completely to the development and production of feature film projects. His first feature film was nominated at the International Gold Coast Film Festival in 2018 and won the Silver award at the Australian Cinematography in 2017. Jim recently produced his second Film 'The School'; which is set for release in 2019 and sold at the Toronto International Film Festival, the American Film Market and Berlin International Film Festival and Cannes in 2018 to over 25 countries worldwide, including selling the North American rights to leading distributor Vertical Entertainment. 'The School' was also official selection of Monsterfest Film Festival which is Australia's largest horror/thriller film festival, Byron Bay International Film Festival and the School also received a nomination at Ozflix Independent Film Awards in 2019 for best female actor in a leading role. Jim currently has a slate of films set for production in 2019 and 2020. Jim is also Executive Producer on Never Too Late, a comedy directed by AFI winner, and critically acclaimed director Mark Lamprell, which stars multiple Academy Award nominee James Cromwell, Jacki Weaver and award winning actors Jack Thompson, Dennis Waterman and Shane Jacobson. During his career Jim has collectively raised over 12 million dollars AUD in finance of feature films in private and debt equity; has worked with Oscar nominated and winning cast and crew, leading distributors, premiere post production companies at Fox Studios and international film finance companies. Kurt Martin | Director & Writer
Kurt Martin is a Director and Writer from Sydney, Australia. He studied Law at the Sydney University, as well as earning a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University. Kurt then went on to complete a Diploma of Film and Television Production at TAFE, and then on to an Advanced Diploma at Sydney Film School, majoring in Directing & Screen-Writing. Kurt has directed several Short Films, many of which have been nominated at International Film festivals. He has directed numerous TVC's, Music Videos, Web series and Pilot TV series, as well as working on several Feature Films as Assistant Director (1st/2nd) including Teenage Kicks, The School, Out Of The Shadows (with budgets totalling $8 Million). Kurt’s body of work has received numerous international nomination's including Switzerland International Film Fetival, Schnit Shorts, Tokyo Lift Off, Mumbai Navi International Film Festival and Los Angeles Lift Off Film Festival. His screenplay writing has also been short-listed for the world’s most prestigious screenplay competition's, including the International prestigious BlueCat ScreenPlay Competition.
